The EmeraldSensor Platform is an end-to-end solution, from hardware to analytics, which allows sensors and PLC’s to be connected and integrated directly with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The sensors can collect data in virtually any environment, providing real-time data that can be accessed 24/7 by the user. The sensors can detect any established parameter such as motion, temperature, electricity, humidity, noise or vibration, collecting desired data over a specified period. This data is then turned into knowledge, answering questions to overcome business obstacles and in turn, increase efficiency and profits. Because this data is collected in real-time and can be accessed 24/7 by the user, potential problems can be avoided and uptime increased. EmeraldSensor is validated by Oracle to work natively with the JD Edwards IoT Orchestrator.
EmeraldSensor has achieved Oracle Validated Integration, meeting a stringent set of requirements from Oracle that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. OVI certifies that the integration between EmeraldSensor and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 is functionally sound and performs as tested.
- Sensor: Actual hardware and sensor performing measurements and communicating real-time data to gateway.
- Gateway: Server or Virtual Machine running the EmeraldSensor gateway, receiving events from all the deployed sensors and passing them along to adapters.
- Adapters: Application specific adapters that receive information from gateway and pass on to actual application/consumer, such as JD Edwards IoT Orchestrator.
- Analytics: Dashboards and reports accessible via browser and/or embedded directly into JDE via E1Page (static link) or CaféOne (dynamic link).
How It Works
The EmeraldSensor platform utilizes sensors to collect data in virtually any environment. From temperature and movement, to weight and volume, the sensors can collect important data and transfer that data via wireless connectivity to the EmeraldSensor gateway. This information is then transmitted through various adapters, including direct integration with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
